Legend: A summary of 2016-20 world wine production, trade and consumption by country. All data were extracted from FAOSTAT and averaged over whichever data were available between 2016-2020. Countries are identified by their 3-letter ISO codes, knows as “ISO 3166-1 alpha-3” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3). Wine amounts are given in “bottles” assumed to be standard 75 centilitre bottles. The last 4 columns do not take into account stocks and changes in stocks.
